We learned halfway through our pregnancy that our second son would not only have Down Syndrome, but that he would also have a congenital heart defect known as Complete Atrioventricular Canal Defect that will eventually require Open Heart Surgery. This is our journey...
We visited a friend's Jersey farm today and since "barn" clothes seemed pretty appropriate (and we had some in the right size), I dressed Luke up in some Carhartts for the occasion. He just looked too cute for me to pass up the photo opp!
And for fun... since this outfit was a hand-me-down from big brother Matthew... here are some photos of him wearing it when he was 4 months old...
P.S. I'm happy to report that I think my photography skills have improved some since then too!
